The recently-published 2021 HomeViews National Build to Rent Report revealed the UK’s very best Build to Rent (BTR) operators for specific management ratings on the HomeViews review platform. Discover the ten operators rated highest by their residents.
Our reviews show that good building management is crucial for keeping residents happy. The report found that Management scores on HomeViews were strongly correlated with overall building Star Ratings. Reviewers commented positively on “friendly” and “helpful” staff, and a “seamless” service with swift maintenance solutions was also praised.
The Management chapter of the National Build to Rent Report also revealed some interesting findings about the wider BTR industry and new build tenant experience in the UK. Management scores from tenants in BTS buildings were 25% lower than those from residents of BTR buildings.
The positive story for BTR management standards continued when looking at the number of reviewers who said they would recommend their landlord or developer. 90% of BTR residents said they would recommend their landlord. Meanwhile, only 69% of new build owners said the would recommend the developer of their building.
BTR building managers were also shown to have risen to the challenge of Covid-19 and the various lockdowns of 2020. Reviews showed that, overall, residents felt safe and well looked-after.
