New Delhi: The world’s richest man Elon Musk is currently the talk of the town. The owner of Tesla and SpaceX struck a deal on social media platform Twitter on Monday night. Then on Tuesday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari once again offered Elon Musk the production of Tesla’s electric car in India. Gadkari said that if Elon Musk is ready to be produced in India, then we have all kinds of talent and technology. “Alan Musk is welcome in India and we urge him to produce in India,” Gadkari said. He also said that if Musk would be manufactured in China and sold in India, it would not be acceptable to us. Speaking on a program, Gadkari said this.
In response to a question in Raisi’s dialogue, the Union Minister said that they were requesting Musk to come to India and start production here. India has a lot of capabilities and technology. India is a big market. Ports and airports are available here. Elon can also export from here. But if Musk wants to produce in China and sell that material in India, that would not be a good proposal. So Elon Musk comes to India and starts manufacturing here.
India denies Musk’s demand
Elon Musk wants his electric car company Tesla to enter the Indian market, but has sought tax exemptions first. Tesla wants to sell imported cars in India. Tesla has repeatedly said that India should reduce import duty on electric cars. But the Indian government is not ready for this. The Indian government says Tesla will be the first to come to India and build a car. Only then will any waiver be considered.
Recently, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has finally finalized a deal to buy Twitter. The deal is worth 44 billion. He himself confirmed the news of Twitter’s sale on Twitter. However, there has been talk for days that Elon Musk will buy Twitter.
