Karachi: A bomb blast rocked Karachi, Pakistan’s largest city, on Thursday night. Which caused panic among the people. The blast in the main area of Karachi sent shockwaves through the market. One person was killed and at least 15 were injured in what became known as the Cold War. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a crowd of mourners. Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the incident. He directed the CM of Sindh province to take special care of the injured and give them medical treatment.
Placing bombs in parked bicycles
An eyewitness to the bomb blast said the blast was so severe that the windows of nearby buildings and shops were shattered and eight to ten vehicles parked on the road caught fire. Destruction was all around after the bombing. The bomber struck shortly after noon in a bicycle parked next to a dustbin.
The use of 2 kg of explosives in the bomb
According to preliminary information, about 2 kg of explosives and about half a kg of ball bearings were used in the blast. The explosion was caused by a timer. Separatist groups in Sindh and Balochistan have claimed responsibility. Karachi police are calling it a terrorist attack.
Blast in the center of the city
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station. This area is called downtown. Where huge crowds of people can be seen. People were evacuated following the blast. The blast shattered the windows of nearby hotels and houses, causing panic among the people.
