Jammu: Protest has started in Jammu after the murder of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt. Protests were staged in Budgam, Jammu and Kashmir against the assassination of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt. Rahul’s father has demanded an inquiry into the matter. Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt was killed by militants in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday. After which Kashmiri Pandits staged a demonstration in Budgam today (Friday). Police had lathi charge to control the crowd and also released tear gas cells. There is outrage among the people over the incident. BJP staged a protest in Jammu against the assassination of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt.
Demand for investigation of father in murder case
The father of the deceased Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt has demanded an inquiry into the incident. He has alleged that his son was killed by a conspiracy. Why was Rahul killed in an office where more than 100 people were present? Meanwhile, PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti had expressed her desire to go to Budgam. So that they have been incarcerated. He himself gave information about this.
Serious allegations leveled by Rahul Bhatt’s wife
The wife of Kashmiri Pandit Rahul Bhatt has alleged that her husband was not given security despite receiving threats. He spoke to Rahul 10 minutes before the murder. There were no security guards with him. When he left, everyone on the road saluted him. He was told that Budgam would be incomplete without him, but he was killed.
Demand for protection of Kashmiri Pandits
Rahul Bhatt was shot dead by militants inside a tehsil office in Chadura Nagar. Rahul Bhatt got a government job in 2010-11 under a special planning package for tourists. After the incident, Kashmiri Pandits also gathered at Pandit Colony in Virwan, Jammu and Kashmir. He demanded justice and security for Kashmiri Pandits working in the valley.
Terrorists shot dead at SPO in Pulwama
A terrorist attack was also carried out in Pulwama on Friday. The SPO was shot after breaking into his home. He was martyred in this incident.
Sanjay Raut’s advice to the Center
Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that even after the repeal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Kashmiri Pandits could not return there. Pundits returning to Kashmir are not safe. The central government will have to take tough decisions.
