Uttar Pradesh: The Uttar Pradesh government has taken a big decision to promote tourism in the state. Yogi Government of Uttar Pradesh is launching Helicopter Taxi facility. Helicopter taxi service is connecting tourist destinations in Uttar Pradesh. In this phase, the state government is going to start heli taxis between Mathura and Agra soon. Launched in the hope of enhancing connectivity between different cities by helicopter, the scheme will be launched soon.
According to information received, the Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh is launching a helicopter taxi service to promote tourism. Tenders have been invited for the construction, operation and maintenance of the heliport on May 23. In addition to the construction of the helipad, the lowest bidder will be given the job of operation and maintenance. Let us inform you that the construction and operation of the heliport for this helicopter taxi service will be done by PPP mode i.e. Public Private Partnership.
Pre-bid was planned
Heliports are currently being built at many tourist destinations in UP. Preparations are underway for the construction of a heliport at Agra and construction at Govardhan in Mathura will begin soon. As per the instructions of the UP State Government, the pre-bid has been organized on May 31 at the office of the Tourism Department in Lucknow and requests for the required qualification for the tender can be made till June 23. Request for qualification can be applied online on the website etender.up.nic.in.
People will benefit from this by traveling by heli taxi
Heli taxi facility between Mathura and Agra will make it easier for people to travel. At the same time, the number of accidents on the highway will also decrease. Many accidents occur on the Yamuna Express Highway between Mathura and Agra. But with the launch of this heli taxi facility, the number of accidents will be reduced and people will be able to travel safely to Mathura and Agra. Apart from this, a joy ride can also be done for aerial view of tourist places by helicopter. Tourists will be able to see tourist places like Taj Mahal, Sikandra Fort, Fatehpur Sikri from above in Agra Darshan by helicopter. In Mathura you can see aerial views of Mathura, Vrindavan, Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon.
The UP government has used helicopters before
Let me inform you that the tourism department has used helicopters in Govardhan Parikrama before. Tourists who could not walk were circumnavigated by helicopter. Apart from this, in the year 2018 also Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had started a helicopter taxi scheme in the state. In the first phase, four districts Varanasi, Prayagraj, Mathura and Agra were included.
