Jammu: Clashes between security forces and militants have resumed in Baramulla district of Kashmir division. Security forces killed three Pakistani militants in the encounter. Along with this, information is being received that a policeman has been martyred. Police have seized weapons, ammunition and criminal material from the terrorists. Jammu and Kashmir police and 52 RR jawans are responding to the militants. There is no word yet on the number of terrorists, but the army has cordoned off the area.
So far 22 Pakistani militants have been killed
IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said, “We have killed three Pakistani terrorists of JeM.” They have been active in the area for the last 3-4 months and we are tracking them. A policeman was also killed. “So far this year, we have killed 22 Pakistani militants,” said Kashmir Zone Police. Police and army are working.
Two more terrorists carried out two incidents in Kashmir yesterday
Terrorists target policemen in Srinagar Also in Kulgam, militants hurled grenades at the CRPF and police Naka party. In both cases, the terrorists managed to escape. Terrorists opened fire on a policeman as he was leaving his house to go for tuition to his eight-year-old daughter in Saura Anchar area of Srinagar. In which both were injured. The policeman died at the hospital. This is the third incident this month in which three policemen have been killed by terrorists. Earlier on May 7, a policeman was attacked on the Iowa Bridge near Anchar area and on May 13 in Pulwama.
Grenade attack on a police naka party in Kulgam
Also on Tuesday evening, militants hurled grenades at the CRPF and police’s Naka party in Kulgam in south Kashmir. In which three civilians were injured. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital. At the same time, a search operation has been launched in the entire area to find the terrorists. Police said the militants also hurled grenades at a Naka party in Yaripora. However, the grenade exploded on the road after missing the target. Three civilians passing by were injured. Troops retaliated after the attack, causing them to flee. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital.
