Islamabad: Violence erupted in Islamabad during the independence march of former Prime Minister Imran Khan in Pakistan. Imran Khan’s supporters have set fire to several places and set fire to the metro station. Pakistan is currently in a state of civil war. Police arrested several supporters of Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party on Wednesday during violent protests. Thousands of Imran’s supporters have taken to the streets. Protests against the Shahbaz government took place in Karachi, Lahore.
Army deployed in Islamabad, police released tear gas
Troops have been deployed in the capital Islamabad since the situation escalated. Here the police fired tear gas shells and charged the baton. Disgruntled supporters also pelted stones in response. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Imran Khan is marching towards D-Chowk with his supporters. Currently the order has been issued by the government. In which their priority is the security of the government building.
Order to stop Imran Khan from entering Islamabad
According to the Pakistani government, Imran Khan’s supporters could target the Supreme Court, the Parliament House, the PM’s House, the Presidency, the Pakistan Secretariat, and the diplomatic enclave. Considering the whole situation, Pak PM Shahbaz Sharif, after receiving input from the country’s security agencies, has ordered the authorities to stop Imran Khan from entering Islamabad’s red zone.
