Gandhinagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the beneficiaries of various poor welfare schemes of the central government through a virtual medium at a nationwide poor welfare convention under the nectar festival of independence from Shimla. On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Central Government under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi has continued its uninterrupted journey of achievement on the five pillars of service, good governance, welfare of the poor, innovation and determination.
Patel said that Gujarat was getting the benefit of a double engine government at the Center and the state in accelerating the pace of development. Gujarat has become a role model of development through comprehensive implementation of schemes.
The Chief Minister said that during the eight years of Prime Minister Modi-led government at the Center, the Modi government has given India a new direction, new avenues of development. After eight years, the Modi government has become a symbol of faith, energy, hope and expectation. Prime Minister Modi’s government has supported the poor, instilled a sense of security and self-respect in women. Infused immense energy in the youth. It has instilled confidence in the farmers and raised the confidence and expectations of the common man.
At the outset of the Garib Kalyan Sammelan, Chief Secretary Pankaj Kumar said that Prime Minister Modi had a nationwide dialogue with the beneficiaries of various 12 welfare schemes of the Center from Shimla. Under which Prime Minister Modi also held a dialogue with the beneficiary of PM Mudra of Mehsana in Gujarat.
Along with this, poor welfare conventions were held at various district centers of the state in the presence of Union Ministers. Mansukhbhai Mandvia, Union Minister Purushottam Rupala at Amreli and Union Minister of State at Surendranagar Dr. Cabinet members including Mahendra Mujpura and approximately 1 lakh beneficiaries from across the state were virtually joined.
Prime Minister Modi had a virtual interaction with the beneficiaries-citizens from all over the country including Gujarat under which Prime Minister Modi interacted for 4 minutes with Arvind S Patel, a beneficiary living in Someshwar Bungalows in Mehsana city and doing Surbhi Mandap decoration business. Arvindbhai has got a loan of Rs. 7 lakh 20 thousand under Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana. The loan boosted their business. They used to employ eight people, now they employ twelve.
