KL Rahul will travel to Germany for treatment of groin injury
New Delhi: India’s opener KL Rahul has been ruled out of the home series against South Africa due to a groin injury. Rahul wants to be fit before the T20 World Cup in Australia and will reportedly be flown to Germany for treatment of his injury. According to media reports, the BCCI has decided to send Rahul to Germany. BCCI secretary Jai Shah confirmed this. He said the board was monitoring Rahul’s health and he would go to Germany for treatment. Rahul may leave for Germany later this month or early July.
