New Delhi: At least 12 people were killed when toxic gas leaked from a tanker at Aqaba Port in Jordan. While the condition of many people has become serious, they have been admitted to the hospital. According to local media, a tanker was carrying chlorine gas at Aqaba port late Monday night. The tanker exploded as it approached the crane. Due to which yellow gas spread throughout the area. In which 12 people have died. More than 250 people are in critical condition. People were seen running for their lives after the incident.
Poison spread in the air by a mistake of the employees
According to reports, the accident was caused by an employee error. There was a very loud explosion while the cylinder was being loaded on the ship. The cylinder then fell to the ground. About 25 tonnes of chlorine gas was stored at the port at the time of the incident. The video of the whole incident has also gone viral. In which it can be clearly seen how this incident happened.

“We urge the people of the city to stay at home until further notice,” said Jamal Obediat, head of the Aqaba health department. Keep doors and windows completely closed if further trouble arises. We think the death toll could rise because the condition of many people is serious.
