Amidst the Corona epidemic, monkeypox is now spreading rapidly in countries around the world. The disease has now spread to 6 countries. So far 219 cases have been reported. The World Health Organization has called a meeting of its emergency committee. The meeting may consider declaring a global emergency in the wake of the monkeypox outbreak. The declaration of a global crisis on monkeypox by the World Health Organization would mean that the United Nations health agency considers the outbreak an “extraordinary phenomenon” and risks spreading to other countries. The announcement, made by the World Health Organization, will inspire the world to take similar action against monkeypox, as well as ongoing efforts to eradicate the cholera epidemic and polio. However, scientists doubt that any such announcement will help prevent it as developed countries are already taking swift action to control it. Last week, World Health Organization Director-General Tedros Adhanam Ghebrais said the virus had been found in more than forty countries. The World Health Network is a global group of scientific and civic teams. The World Health Network said the virus has so far spread to nine countries and 219 cases have been reported. Currently, its rage is spreading rapidly across many continents.
