The programme, was originally narrated by singer, actress and TV presenter Toyah Willcox.
It was focused on about the adventures of a small and reactive vintage car called Brum who lives in a motor museum.
The vehicle met new people who help him explore the world as he headed off into the big city in search of adventure.
However, the publicly funded corporation left viewers of the show bemused by a previous trigger warning.
A satire account snapped the notice and they took to X – formerly known as Twitter – with a snapshot of the contents.
The text on the picture read: “This series was originally aired in the 90s and early 00s and may reflect the language and attitude of the time.”
However, users of the micro-blogging platform couldn’t help but flood the site with jokes and sarcastic jibes.
One user fumed: “Everyone should feel embarrassed by this.”
Another remarked: “The people who need this warning, how do they manage to get through a whole day?”
“Would genuinely love to know what got flagged up here ,” stated a third.
A fourth viewer quipped: “I want to know what could be deemed offensive in Brum .”
As a fifth sarcastically joked: “As a recovering alcoholic, I find that the word “rum” (even though it’s mixed into another word) to be highly offensive.”
Whilst another joked: “‘This program may contain people from Birmingham, which younger viewers may find disturbing’.”
And a seventh user simply put: “That’s some trigger warning.”
