New Delhi: After handing over the first draft of the revised constitution to the International Hockey Federation (FIH), the Committee of Administrators (COA), which oversees hockey in India, said on Wednesday that the election process for Hockey India would be completed by October 9. In a joint statement, FIH and COA said that the final draft of the constitution would be delivered to FIH’s Lusana headquarters within the next 10 days.
The joint statement said that as directed by the Delhi High Court, the first draft of Hockey India’s revised constitution has been submitted to the FIH today and the final draft will be submitted in the next 10 days. It has been jointly decided to complete the election process of Hockey India by 9th October 2022. A two-member FIH delegation comprising Executive Chairman Saif Ahmed and CEO Thierry Weil visited the national capital regarding the possible suspension of Hockey India.
PSL will clash with IPL in 2025
New Delhi: Pakistan Super League (PSL) will clash with world’s strongest franchise league Indian Premier League (IPL) in 2025 due to busy domestic season due to hosting of ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan. The two-and-a-half-month window of the IPL will start from March to the beginning of June. As Pakistan will host the ICC Champions Trophy in February 2025, they have shifted the 10th season of PSL from its regular January-February window to March to May. This will also be the first time that PSL will clash with the world famous rich league IPL. Along with this, it will be interesting to see which of the two the international cricketers playing in both the leagues will give priority to.
