She uploaded a video with the caption: “The best PARENT HACK for MESSY MEALS and ACTIVITIES!”
Posting under @thebastfamily, she said: “Tired of mealtime mess?
“Trim an old shower curtain to make a DIY splat mat.”
Kate showed how she simply scoops up the mat at the end of mealtimes and then tips any food in the bin and cleans it for its next use.
The video has been viewed nearly 100,000 times, and people praised her hack.
