Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals lost the first wicket by zero runs. However, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh then put on a 144-run partnership with the Rajasthan Royals bowlers to give Delhi the lead. Marsh scored 89 off 62 balls with the help of 7 sixes and 5 fours, while David Warner remained unbeaten on 52 off 41 balls.
