Talking about Europe, the heat that was there last week was beyond imagination. European countries like Spain, Italy, England, Germany and France experienced unprecedented heat. The temperature here reached around 40 degrees. Not only this, for the first time in history a red heat alert was declared in England. On the other hand, landslide incidents were seen in many places in India in the past month. Many areas were submerged in water. Along with Europe, now also in America, the heat has created terror.
Meanwhile, according to reports in the American media, a fierce fire broke out due to heat in the Mariposa County area of California. In this fire, around 4350 acres of forest was wiped out in just nine hours. Officials of the local forest department and fire brigade said that the fire started at 2 pm and was brought under control at 11 pm. Thus, the fire caused huge destruction in just nine hours of calculation. According to further information, areas miles away were evacuated due to this fire. People living around US Highway 49 were evacuated to a safe place. Due to the hot and dry weather, the fire quickly took on a ferocious form.
On the other hand, a drastic change in the climate was also seen in the Middle East country of Iran. There was a sudden flood in a province south of here. Around 21 people died in this flood. Yusuf Kargar, governor of Istabhan city here, while giving information, said that due to heavy rains, there was a flood in Rodbal river. The rescue workers rescued 55 people trapped in the flood. More than 10 villages have been affected by this flood. Iran’s Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi expressed his condolences to the families of those killed in the incident. He further said that Iran has been facing this type of natural disaster for the past decade due to changes in climate pollution. Earlier, 44 people were killed in floods in Iran in 2018.
