Azadi Ka Amrit Mohotsav is being celebrated on the occasion of 75th Independence Day of the country. While the countrymen are coming home, this enthusiasm of patriotism is being seen on foreign soil across the seven seas. India’s 75th year of independence has been hailed by many countries of the world. Muslim countries have wished India on its 75th Independence Day, on the other hand, many countries have decorated their landmark places with Tricolor lighting. Opera House in Sydney, Australia was decorated with Tricolor lighting, and the feeling of enthusiasm has spread among Indians living in Australia.
Himanshu Joshi, a GST advocate originally from Surat and settled in Australia for the past few years, said that far away from the country but the way the Australian government has organized the celebrations here, it doesn’t feel like we are in India. Melbourne and several landmark places like the Sydney Opera House are lit and decorated in the form of the tricolor. Indians reached the Opera House by evening and celebrated the country’s 75th Independence Day away from home with gusto. People celebrated by salting each other’s mouths.

Indians living in many countries including America, Canada, Australia, Africa and Dubai are proudly celebrating their 75th Independence Day. Foreign governments are also making arrangements for Indian and their independence celebrations, on the other hand, Muslim countries have also extended greetings to India. Indian National Anthem was played in Iran today. Indian Prime Minister and President were greeted by the King of Saudi Arabia. A congratulatory message was also sent by the Deputy Prime Minister of Dubai.
