Wismar: The world’s largest cruise ship (Cruise ship) has come to be sold for scrap before it goes on its maiden voyage because its owners are bankrupt!
Named Global Dream-2, this luxury ship was built by German-Hong Kong shipbuilding company MV Werften. The mammoth 1,122-foot ship is the world’s largest cruise ship to date, carrying 9,000 passengers and costing $1.2 billion to build. The ship has many facilities including a water park and a cinema. However, the ship was almost ready to be built when the company that built and owned it, MV Verften, went bankrupt. Now no one in the world is ready to buy such an expensive luxury ship and there is no other option but to sell the luxury cruise ship for scrapping. The twenty-story ship is currently kept at a shipyard in Wismar, Germany.
Up to 9,000 tourists can take a walk in the huge luxury ship named Global Dream-2, built at a cost of 1.2 billion dollars. However, the owner company that built this ship went bankrupt and since no one is willing to buy this ship from him, it has to be scrapped now.
