New Delhi: Film actress Jacqueline Fernandez appeared at the EOW office in Delhi on Wednesday in connection with the money laundering case related to gangster Sukesh Chandrasekhar. In this case, the interrogation of the actress lasted for about eight hours. DCP level officer (DCP Officer) inquired. Currently, he will be called for questioning again. Senior officials will discuss Jacqueline’s answers, after which they will decide whether to call for further questioning.
Separate statements of Pinky Irani and Jacqueline were recorded
According to sources, first Pinky Irani and Jacqueline’s separate statements were recorded, after which both were interrogated face to face. According to sources, Jacqueline avoided answering some questions during the interrogation. Irani and Jacqueline’s answers do not match on many questions. It was Pinky Irani who made Sukesh Chandrasekhar and Jacqueline Fernandez meet.
Jacqueline appeared on the third summons
The EOW branch of the Delhi Police had earlier summoned Jacqueline twice (12 September and 29 August) for questioning, but Jacqueline did not appear before the police. By issuing a third summons, the Delhi Police issued strict instructions to the actress to appear.
Jacqueline knew about Sukesh
ED has also filed a charge sheet against Jacqueline Fernandez in the Rs 215 crore fraud case. Jacqueline has alleged that Sukesh Chandrasekhar had gifted her jewelery worth around Rs 7 crore. In addition, there were 3 Persian cats worth around Rs 9 lakh each, an Arabian horse worth around Rs 52 lakh, 15 pairs of earrings i.e. coils, diamond sets, expensive crockery, designer bags from expensive brands like Gucci and Chanel. Two Gucci suits, several pairs of Louis Vuitton shoes, two Hummy bracelets, a Mini Cooper car, even gifted expensive Rolex watches to wear.

The ED said in the chargesheet that Jacqueline was aware of thug Sukesh’s black exploits but still accepted his expensive gifts. Jacqueline cannot leave the country, as per ED’s charge sheet, the charges against Jacqueline are justified or not and only after that the trial will proceed. Currently, Jacqueline is not allowed to travel abroad. The ED has said that Sukesh Chandrasekhar tried to contact Jacqueline Fernandes between December 2020 and January 2021, but earlier she did not answer the calls.
