These players have decided not to play 3 T-20 matches in India due to injury. Michel Marsh, Michel Stark and Marks Stoinis from the Australian team coming to India to play a three-match T-20 series have suffered injuries. (Injured) have been out. According to the Australian cricket website cricket.com.au, the injuries of these three are not that serious but Cricket Australia (CA) has decided not to take any risk regarding these players considering the T20 World Cup to be played at home next month. The team’s aggressive left-arm opener David Warner has already been rested for this tour, which will have a major impact on the Australian team, while captain Aaron Finch will also not be touring India as he has retired.
Australian selectors have replaced Starc, Marsh and Stoinis with Nathan Ellis, Daniel Sams and Sean Abbott. Marsh and Stoinis suffered injuries during the ODI series against Zimbabwe and New Zealand. Starc was ruled out of the team on Wednesday after a knee scan. Australia will play three T20Is in Mohali on September 20, Nagpur on September 23 and Hyderabad on September 25.
