New Delhi: Switzerland’s star tennis player Roger Federer recently announced his retirement. Federer, 41, played his last match late on Friday night (23 September). Federer played this match in doubles. His partner in this was Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal. Roger Federer could not win the last match of his career played in London. He met Americans Francis Tiafoe and Jack Sock, losing 4–6, 7–6(2), 11–9. Federer gave an emotional farewell after the match. Federer started crying after the last match.
A video is going viral on social media in which it can be clearly seen that Federer had tears in his eyes after the last match. He was seen crying. Meanwhile, apart from Nadal, Serbia’s star player Novak Djokovic was also seen with him. Many star players were also present on this occasion. Federer hugged everyone and said goodbye to tennis. Meanwhile, other players including Rafael Nadal also appeared emotional. Federer was sometimes seen crying and sometimes smiling. He said I am not sad but happy. Tears could not stop from his eyes.
