Demonstrations continue in Iran
Police arrested more than 250 people from Kurdish-populated areas on Monday to quell demonstrations. Security forces are conducting operations against the protesters. Their houses are being raided. The Revolutionary Guards of Iran are also involved in this operation. A Kurdish activist said security forces were targeting people working for the Kurds. However, the protests will continue until Mahsa gets justice.
A protest against the supreme religious leader
Demonstrators are also chanting slogans against the country’s supreme religious leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Due to which the police opened fire on him. This country holds elections and has a democratic system but still all important decisions are taken by Khamenei. What is surprising to the government here is that men are also participating in these demonstrations along with women. Demonstrators gathered outside the Governor’s House after his funeral. Where the security personnel started firing on him.
