Iran: Violence in Iran is not taking the name of stopping. Now a protest was held against the rape of a 15-year-old Baloch girl in Zahedan city. The police fired to stop them. It is reported that 36 people died. Enraged people set fire to government offices and police stations following the incident. After Friday prayers, people from the Baloch community took to the streets and raised slogans. Then the police opened fire.
Accused of rape on police

It is alleged that the police commander took her to his office and raped the girl. The Sunni Baloch population lives in Iran’s south-eastern Sistan and Baluchistan provinces. The name of the accused commander is Colonel Ibrahim Khuchakzai. He is a Shia Muslim. The victim is a Sunni. On Friday, leaders of the Baloch community called for protest against the incident. Clashes took place between Baloch and the police during the demonstration. According to media reports, a large part of the city of Jehdan is under the control of the demonstrators. Meanwhile, police stations and vehicles were set on fire.
A September event
According to Iranian media reports, the incident took place on September 1. The girl returned home and told her mother about this. To suppress the matter, the security forces abducted three of the victim’s relatives and forced the victim’s family to give a statement that nothing had happened to the girl. The victim’s family was also pressured not to file a complaint. However, despite immense pressure, the victim’s family did not drop the allegations of rape. Colonel Ibrahim Khuchakzai, the police commander in Chabahar, was investigating the murder case. The victim is the daughter of a neighbor of the murdered woman. The commander called the girl to the office for questioning and raped her there.
A Revolutionary Guard commander was killed in the attack
According to local media, the agitators were protesting in the town of Zhedan. Meanwhile, the security personnel tried to stop them. Meanwhile, the security personnel opened fire. After this, bullets were also fired from the agitators. Ali Mousavi was shot dead by the agitators in this clash. Mousavi was rushed to hospital, but died. The government has shut down the internet in Zahedan following protests and violence. Demonstrations have also taken place in other Baloch populated cities. There have also been reports of burning government offices.
