South Africa won by 49 runs as the Indian team was bowled out for 178 runs against a target of 228 runs set by Curry. Among the Indian bowlers, T20 specialist Harshal Patel gave 49 runs in 4 overs, while Deepak Chahar, Mohammad Siraj and Umesh Yadav also averaged 11 runs or more, India’s bowling was becoming a concern before the T20 World Cup.
