New Delhi: Team India may be busy playing the T20 World Cup in Australia, but here the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squad for the next two tours. The All India Senior Selection Committee has selected separate Indian squads for the tour of New Zealand and Bangladesh. A new team is going on tour against New Zealand. Hardik Pandya has been selected as the captain and wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant as the vice-captain in the T20 series. While Shikhar Dhawan has been handed over the helm for the ODI series and Pant has been made his deputy. Fast bowler Umran Malik has also returned to the T20I and ODI squads for the tour of New Zealand. Apart from this, Shreyas Iyer, Sanju Samson, Washington Sundar, Shardul Thakur Kuldeep Yadav have also been selected in both the squads for the New Zealand tour.
The Indian team is scheduled to play three ODI and two Test series during the Bangladesh tour. The helm of both these teams has been entrusted to the regular captain of the team, Rohit Sharma. Mohammad Siraj has been included in both the ODI and Test squads for the Bangladesh tour. While new faces like Yash Dayal, Rajat Patidar have been selected in the ODI team. Hardik Pandya has not been included in the Indian squad for the Bangladesh tour. It is worth mentioning that India is scheduled to tour Bangladesh later this year. Where three one-day internationals, 2 test matches will be played. Later next year i.e. from January 2023 to February 2023, the Indian team is scheduled to tour New Zealand and play a series of three ODIs and an equal number of T20 matches.

The Indian cricket team will tour New Zealand after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup 2022. In this tour, Team India has to play T20 as well as ODI series, for which the Indian team will be announced today at 6.30 pm. Ahead of the announcement of Team India for the tour of New Zealand, it has been revealed by sources that Hardik Pandya may be given the captaincy of the Indian T20 team in place of Rohit Sharma.
Talking about Hardik Pandya, he also proved himself as a captain in IPL 2022 and made Gujarat Titans champions under his captaincy. Hardik is currently playing with the Indian team in the T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia. His performance so far in the World Cup has been good and he has been contributing to the team both in bowling and batting.
Indian chief selector Chetan Sharma may announce the Indian squad for the tour of New Zealand at 6.30 pm and it is being speculated that Shikhar Dhawan may be named the captain of the Indian ODI team for the tour as well as the squad for the ODI series. Senior players can also be rested. For this tour, two different teams may participate in T20 series and ODI series. A three-match ODI and T20 series is scheduled to be held between India and New Zealand.
The first T20 match between India and New Zealand will be played on November 18, while the second match will be played on November 20 and the third match will be played on November 22. Apart from this, the first match of the three-match ODI series will be played on November 25, the second match on November 27 and the third match on November 30. The big players may be involved in the T20 series, while they may be rested for the ODI series, looking at workload management. However, it is also learned from sources that Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have sought rest for this tour.
