Surat: Four players from Surat District Cricket Association (SDCA) have been selected for Gujarat Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy (Bihar Trofi), of which Rudr Patel has been selected as captain. Krish Gupta as all-rounder, Ujjwal Bhagat as left-arm spinner. And Dev Kathiriya has been selected as the wicket keeper in the Under-19 Cooch Behar Trophy cricket tournament organized by BCCI.

Ujjwal Bhagat and Chris Gupta have previously played for the Gujarat team for three consecutive years in Under-14 and Under-16 respectively. This 4-day Cooch Behar Cricket Tournament is going to start from 05-11-2022 against Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Chandigarh, Mizoram and Tripura. SDCA President Hemantbhai Contractor Minister Hiteshbhai Patel (Bharathana) Mentor Kanaiyabhai Contractor, Cricket Secretary Dr. Nimeshbhai Desai as well as SDCA Managing Committee members and all the coaches congratulated these four players.

Virat Kohli has set a new milestone for the most runs in the T20 World Cup
Adelaide, dt. 02: Former Indian captain and star batsman Virat Kohli broke the record of former Sri Lankan captain Mehla Jayawardene in terms of scoring the most runs in the T20 World Cup. Kohli now has 1065 runs in 25 matches in the T20 World Cup, while Jayawardene has 1016 runs in 31 matches. By completing his 16th run against Bangladesh today, he became the all-time top scorer of the tournament. In the match against Bangladesh, Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 64 runs off 44 balls with the help of eight fours and one six. Along with this, he was third behind Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Shoaib Malik in T20 World Cup.
