New Delhi: China is always in the news because of its actions. Whether it is a border dispute or an international dispute, China always acts at its own discretion. This time China is manipulating the natural wealth of India. China is gradually setting its eyes on the villages adjacent to the border of India. Now there is information that China Aksai Chin (China Aksai Chin) is looting minerals from the mountainous area.
China, which has deployed more than 50 thousand soldiers and deadly weapons in Ladakh, is now preparing to loot India’s natural resources. Occupying 40 thousand square kilometers of India, China Aksai is busy extracting billions of dollars worth of treasure from the barren mountainous region of China. China has found the largest zinc deposit in Asia in the Aksai China region with a population of only 10 thousand. Not only this, China has found huge deposits of gold and silver in the area adjacent to Arunachal Pradesh, for which China has started preparations for excavation. It is said to be worth around $60 billion. This is the reason why China has now connected Aksai China with Tibet and Xinjiang by road. Not only this, the Aksai China area is also very close to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, through which Dragon connects Xinjiang province with Pakistan’s Gwadar port.
Preparations intensify for zinc-lead extraction from Aksai China
According to a study titled ‘Rising Tensions in the Himalayas’ by the Northwestern University of the Netherlands and the Netherlands Defense Academy, China has accelerated preparations to mine Aksai Chin, one of the world’s largest zinc deposits in the western region. In the eastern region, just 50 km from the McMahon Line near Arunachal Pradesh, China has huge gold and silver deposits in Loonje County.
Not only this, China is setting up hydroelectric projects on a very large scale in this area. China is planning to build a huge dam on the Brahmaputra river, which India is strongly opposing. The Brahmaputra River is the lifeline not only for the northeastern states of India but also for Bangladesh. After the Ladakh tension, China stopped providing water data in the Brahmaputra river to India, which has resumed. This figure is very important for India as the Brahmaputra river floods the states of India.
Asia’s largest zinc deposit is found in Aksai China
China has the largest zinc deposit in Asia in the Aksai China region. It is the seventh largest deposit in the world and can extract up to 19 million tonnes of high quality zinc and lead. The mine will almost double China’s zinc supply. China is currently the largest importer of lead and zinc from Latin America, but has faced severe supply shortages due to the Corona restrictions. China’s lead and zinc imports rose 31.7 percent in 2020 and 17.5 percent last year. Zinc and lead have been discovered in 27 provinces and territories in China.
The world needs zinc from China, India is a major importer
Currently, zinc and lead are in high demand in the world and China has become rich from these reserves. Both these metals are needed to run many industries including electronics, machinery, chemical, construction, fertilizer, light industry and pharmaceutical industries. China is both a major producer and consumer of zinc. India also has a huge need for zinc in the production of food grains and this is the reason why our country imports it from Russia and many other countries. According to Northwestern University, China has significantly increased its activity in Aksai China. The report used 15 years of infiltration data from China.
China finds gold and silver worth $60 billion near Arunachal
China has discovered gold, silver and other precious minerals like rare earths worth about $60 billion in Lungje County near India’s Arunachal border. China is now mining the Huayu gold mine. After the Doklam dispute, China has accelerated this excavation work. To extract this gold, China has built a massive infrastructure and deployed the Chinese army. Through this, China is trying to strengthen its claim of sovereignty over Tibet. Chinese President Xi Jinping has started settling people of Han origin in the area adjacent to Arunachal. China has claimed that it is its sovereign weapon to develop a gold mine just 15 km from the Indian border.
