New Delhi: Russia has carried out an air attack in Ukraine’s Kiev using kyvi missiles. In which energy centers and buildings were destroyed. Power supply was stopped in most cities of Ukraine. It can be said that due to the air strikes, the entire Ukraine was covered in blackout. It is known that three people died in this attack. Due to this attack, there was a power outage in Kiev and an emergency blackout was forced to be implemented in Kiev.
According to the information, Russia fired 70 missiles in Kiev region and launched another air attack on Friday. Some buildings in the residential area collapsed in this attack. It has also come to light that 3 people died in this incident. On the other hand, 12 persons were killed in firing in Kherson. Ukrainian officials said in response to the attack that Russia fired more than 70 missiles simultaneously over Ukraine on Friday in its largest attack since the start of the war. Due to which Kiev suffered a lot of damage.
Three people were killed in an attack on an apartment block in central Kyiv, a Ukrainian official said, while shootings also occurred in Kherson in the south. Officials based in Russia in occupied eastern Ukraine said 12 people were killed in Ukrainian shelling.
These Russian airstrikes took place in the capitals of Kiev and Kharkiv in the north-eastern part of Ukraine. Then due to the attack, the power supply has been completely stopped in these areas. Due to which the entire Ukraine had to face blackout. An official said that Ukraine’s electricity supply has been cut in half, and power will be supplied only to important places such as hospitals and water supply facilities.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in a video address that Russia still has enough missiles to carry out large-scale attacks. In the video, Zelensky called Russia the ‘missile priest’. He again urged Western allies to supply Kiev with more and better air defense systems. Zelensky said that Ukraine is a very strong country, but he also said that the rocket worshipers in Moscow are counting on still cannot change the balance of this military power.
Russia is trying to bring Ukraine to its knees with constant airstrikes. But Ukraine has been dealing with Russian airstrikes for some time now. Earlier on Wednesday, Ukraine destroyed 13 drones fired in the capital Kyiv. Ukrainian army general Oleksiy Reznikov has warned that Russia may step up its offensive as early as February next year.
