According to information, two helicopters collided on a beach in Australia on Monday, killing four people on board the helicopter and injuring three others. After the accident, the helicopter landed safely near the main beach of the Gold Coast. The site is located 45 miles south of Brisbane in the state of Queensland. Queensland State Police Acting Inspector Gary Worrell said two helicopters collided near SeaWorld Park in Main Beach on the Gold Coast’s North Beach, while another helicopter was flying. The accident occurred when one helicopter was taking off with passengers and the other helicopter was landing passengers.
A helicopter was safely landed after the accident
After the incident, one helicopter landed safely while the debris of the other one was scattered far and wide. According to the police, it is difficult to reach there. There were dead and three injured in this helicopter. An eyewitness named John told Melbourne radio station 3AW that SeaWorld staff heard what sounded like a helicopter crash. At that time, the police authorities blocked Seaworld Drive leading to the scene and set up a ‘Seaworld Park’ nearby.

Queensland Ambulance Service said police and medics attended the scene. One of the country’s favorite tourist destinations, the Gold Coast is very crowded during the holidays. Australian Transport Safety Bureau chief commissioner Angus Mitchell said the cause of the accident was being investigated. Queensland Ambulance Service previously said 13 people were injured but an investigation is ongoing.
