New Delhi: Cases of emergency landing of flights are increasing continuously. Now the incident of fire in the engine of Air India Flight has come to light. The pilot of the Air India Express flight coming from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to the Calicut airport in Kerala (Kerala) found a fire in its engine and diverted the plane back to Abu Dhabi and made a safe landing.

According to the information, Air India Express flight number IX348 took off from Abu Dhabi Airport to Calicut Airport in Kerala. The aircraft returned to Abu Dhabi airport after the engine-1 of the flight caught fire. It is being said that the pilot did not notice this defect before taking off. There are 184 passengers in this plane. However, the passengers were safely landed after returning to Abu Dhabi.
DGCA has issued a statement
DGCA released a statement on Air India Express aircraft informing about this. “Air India Express B737-800 aircraft VT-AYC operating flight IX 348 (Abu Dhabi-Calicut) experienced a fire in engine-1 while approaching 1000 feet, due to which the flight was diverted to the airport,” the statement said.
On January 30 also, a technical fault occurred in the flight
Earlier on January 30, a technical fault occurred in the Air India Express flight coming from Sharjah on Sunday night. Because of this chaos was seen at the Cochin International Airport. An emergency was declared at the Cochin International Airport. The situation at the airport was declared normal following the safe landing of the aircraft and the safe evacuation of the crew members along with all the passengers.
Vistara’s flight had a problem on January 18
Earlier on January 18, a Vistara flight coming from Singapore to Mumbai had a technical fault. The aircraft was brought back to Singapore’s Changi Airport. The plane was said to have taken off at 11 am, but due to a technical fault, the pilots diverted the plane back to Singapore and the passengers were safely evacuated from the flight.
