South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol ordered officials to use all available resources to extinguish the fire and evacuate people as soon as possible. The fire is said to be spreading rapidly due to strong winds. And the forest fire has now reached the city. However, the rescue workers evacuated the town near the forest.
Three people, two of them firefighters, have been injured in the horrific fire. Dozens of buildings were gutted due to the fierce fire. According to information, a dead body was also recovered from the burnt house in the afternoon. Officials believe strong winds caused a tree to fall on power lines, which started the fire.
