A COUPLE who drove two hours to the biggest Asda in the UK have hit back at trolls, insisting they loved their “fun and spontaneous” day out.
Natalie took to TikTok to share a video of their journey to the massive store in Milton Keynes, as she wrote: “Come with us to the biggest Asda in the UK.”
There was a cereal refill station too[/caption]
“They weren’t lying, it’s literally HUGE,” she added as they pulled up to the supermarket, which measures more than 100,000 sq. ft.
Entering the store, she quickly pointed out the food court – with Greggs, Cinnabon and Leon among the outlets – before hitting the cereal refill section.
“It’s even got a f**king salon,” she laughed of the beauty salon inside the store.
“2 Hour Drive For This,” Natalie added in her caption.
But the video sparked comments from trolls, with one writing: “Sounds. Thrilling.”
“2 hour drive for the asda in MK?” another asked.
“How did you romanticise this?” a third commented.
“Bruh, it was a day out,” Natalie hit back.
“We didn’t just go to the Asda. We done a whole load of things that day.
“It was fun and spontaneous.”
“Ok so I’ve never appreciated this Asda hard enough apparently,” someone else commented on the video.
As another admitted: “My hubby & I went there on a date night!”
While someone else wrote: “Wow, I used to work at Tesco Kingston in Milton Keynes in 2001 and that was so big they had staff on roller skates in case you forgot anything.”
