Lucknow: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) set a target of 178 runs by scoring 177 runs for 3 wickets with the help of Marcus Stoinis’ 47-ball 89 not out innings, 82 runs with Krunal Pandya and 60 runs in the last 4 overs with Nicholas Pooran in the IPL match played here today. Against Mumbai Indians (MI), Lucknow could score only 172 runs for 5 wickets, winning by 5 runs and keeping the hope of playoffs alive.
Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma got off to a fast start for Mumbai Indians who came to capture the target. When Rohit was dismissed for 37 runs, Mumbai’s score was 90 runs. After that, Ishan was dismissed for 59 runs.
