LAHORE: Former Prime Minister Imran Khan has warned that Pakistan is heading towards devastation in the near future and may face disintegration. Because, Imran Khan has accused the ruling coalition of conspiring to raise the army against his party. In a video-link address from his Zaman Park residence here on Wednesday, the 70-year-old Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief said the only way to end political instability is to hold elections.

  • I appeal to the authorities to let the elections happen and save the country: Khan
  • My arrest was a conspiracy, hatched by the ruling coalition and the caretaker government of Punjab

Imran Khan said, “PDM leaders and Nawaz Sharif, who is absconding in London, are they at least concerned about whether the country’s constitution is being desecrated, state institutions are being destroyed or even the Pakistan Army is being discredited.” has gone They are only looking out for their vested interests to protect the looted wealth.” Khan said, “I am having a horrible dream that the country is headed for destruction in the near future. I appeal to the authorities to let the elections take place and save the country,” Khan said, adding that the police had surrounded his house.

Speaking about the unrest that followed the arrest of Imran Khan from the premises of the Islamabad High Court on May 9, Khan asserted, “It was a pure conspiracy, allegedly hatched and executed on behalf of the ruling coalition and the caretaker government of Punjab.”
Imran Khan was quoted by Dawn newspaper as saying, “It is high time that the powers that be should reconsider wisely or else the country may face a situation like East Pakistan.”
