New Delhi: The war of words has intensified between wrestlers protesting against former Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Bridge Bhushan and Yogeshwar Dutt. Recently Yogeshwar Dutt gave a statement that if such trials are to be held, apart from these wrestlers Olympic medal winners Ravi Dahiya, Deepak Punia, Anshu Malik, Sonal Malik who are number one wrestlers in the country. They should also be given a chance. Allowing only six wrestlers is wrong. After that, the controversy increased. Sakshi Malik has published a letter in this matter.

The letter released by Sakshi Malik said that some of the former who have been participating in the movement for the past six months need some time to prepare for the Asian Games 2023 and World Championship 2023 trials. The letter made public requested that the trials be held after August 10. The letter asked for the trials of Vinesh Phogat, Banjarang Punia, Sakshi Malik, Satyavrat Kadian, Sangeet Phogat and Jitendra Kumar to be advanced. By declaring this letter, Sakshi Malik replied to Yogeshwar Dutt.
