New Delhi: Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi organized a virtual summit of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). Meanwhile, PM Modi exposed the face of Pakistan in front of all the big leaders of the world regarding terrorism. PM Modi said that whatever form of terrorism we have to fight against it together. The special thing is that when PM Modi was scolding the neighboring country on terrorism, Pakistan’s PM Shahbaz Sharif was also present in this virtual summit.
Without naming Pakistan, PM Modi said that some countries use cross-border terrorism as a tool of their policies. Give shelter to terrorists. The SCO should not hesitate to criticize such countries. President of China Xi Jinping, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and presidents of SCO countries were also present in this virtual meeting. PM Modi said terrorism is a major threat to regional and global peace. Decisive steps need to be taken to meet this challenge. Terrorism in any form, in any form, we have to fight it together.
Centuries-old friendly relations between people of India and Afghanistan: PM Modi
PM Modi said that it is important to ensure that Afghanistan’s land is not used to spread instability in neighboring countries or promote radical ideologies. The PM said that India and the people of Afghanistan have centuries-old friendly relations. Over the past two decades, we have contributed to the economic and social development of Afghanistan. We are still sending humanitarian aid after the events of 2021.
PM Modi also said that in the last 2 decades, SCO has emerged as an important platform for peace, prosperity and development in the entire Asian region. We have based our efforts on two basic principles, the first is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam and the second is Secure i.e. Security. India has created 5 new pillars of cooperation in SCO with this approach.
PM Modi said that we should think together whether we as an organization are able to fulfill the expectations and aspirations of our people? Are we able to meet modern challenges? Is the SCO becoming an organization that is fully prepared for the future?
