NANDO’S is making a major change within just days – and fast food fans will love it.
The home of Peri-Peri chicken is shaking up its loyalty scheme, offering customers double points on purchases over £7.

But the offer, running across all UK and Ireland restaurants, is only valid between July 31 and August 6 so you’ll need to be quick.
Under the deal, foodies who spend £7 or more will receive two “Chillies” instead of one on their Nando’s Rewards card.
Customers who build up enough Chillies can then redeem them for free food.
This is how many Chillies you need to claim a free item and what you can get:
- Three Chillies – a free ¼ chicken, 3 wings, or starter
- Six Chillies – a free ½ chicken, single burger, pitta or wrap
- Ten Chillies – A free whole chicken, meal with regular sides or a salad or bowl
That means if you bought two meals worth £7 or more while the offer was running, you’d have enough Chillies to nab yourself a free side.
Meanwhile, three meals worth £7 or more is enough for you to claim a free half chicken, single burger or pitta or wrap.
Anyone without a Nando’s Rewards card can sign up for one on the chain’s website.
You can download the loyalty scheme on to any smartphone including iPhone’s and Androids.
How else to save money at Nando’s
There are some nifty ways you can save money on your next visit to Nando’s.
If you’re a group that’s big enough, you can save cash by buying combined meals.
Research by moneysavingexpert.com found you can save up to £10 opting for platters rather than individual meals.
For example, if you’re ordering two whole chickens and five large sides, it’ll cost you £60.05 if you’re buying the items separately.
But if you go for the “Family Platter” instead, you’ll pay £49.95 – £10.10 less.
Meanwhile, if you’re a fan of Perinaise, you could save some cash by making your own.
A pot of the sauce costs £1.15 and is in essence just a mixture of mayonnaise and Peri Peri sauce.
But you can ask for a free portion of mayo at the counter and then stire in your Peri Peri sauce of choice from the condiments bar.
You’ll want to steer clear of the olives to save you some cash too.
One ex-worker revealed staff are told to add a single layer of the fruits per customer so you only get around nine.
