SHE’D been planning her usual Taco Tuesday night for her family.
But when Emma spotted a huge pack of reduced gammon ham in Morrisons, she immediately grabbed it – and decided it would be ham, eggs and chips for dinner instead.

She took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her incredible bargain, as she posted a picture of herself with the ham.
“OMG if ever I was in the right place at the right time!!” she wrote.
“From £18.07 down to £1.81 Gammon ham, sorry children but Taco Tuesday is off the menu tonight because tonight it’s ham, eggs and chips!”
She also shared another picture which showed just how thick the slices of ham were.
People were quick to comment on Emma’s post, with one joking: “Sounds lush, what times dinner? Lol.”
“Add a grilled pineapple ring and I’d be happy,” another wrote.
“Great bargain!!”
“That’s an amazing bargain!” a third said.
As someone else commented: “Oooo look at the thickness! try doing quesadillas with it too and it’s good in stir-fry or rice.”
Emma then replied: “It was the thickness which I was drawn too, and obviously the price.
“I’m going to dice some of it before I freeze it so I can add it to homemade egg fried rice, which is another favourite with my children.”
“Love your face, well done, what a bargain,” another praised.
But it was the original price of the meat that caused a stir in the comments.
“Cant believe the price of it in the first place !” one person wrote.
“Well done. Enjoy your bargain.”
As another added: “my backside that was 18 quid originally”.
“Apparently so my lovely, I personally would not have paid £18 for it,” Emma replied.
“But £1.81 most definitely.”
“Surely that was a misprint? £18 for that??” someone else questioned.
While another commented: “Whoever is charging £18 for that is conning you.
“That’s a £5 ham at most by me.”
