FUGITIVE Nicholas Rossi has been arrested in connection with a historical rape in Essex.
Rossi, 36, is understood to have been transferred from Scotland to a prison in England and will be interviewed over the allegation.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: “Officers investigating a non-recent allegation of rape in Chelmsford, which was made to us in April 2022, have arrested 36-year-old a man.
“After liaising with the appropriate authorities, Essex Police officers arrested the man on suspicion of rape this morning, Wednesday October 11.
“He remains in custody for questioning.”
