AN ELEGANCE coach has revealed the five tacky things you should never wear if you want to look stylish.
So if you’re a fan of stacked jewellery and city name tees, prepare to be attacked.
According to Level Blue, name necklaces, cheesy writing on clothing and bright phone cases will instantly make you look tacky – so if you want your style to impress, you’ll need to listen up.
Sharing her fashion tips on social media, Level Blue said: “Ladies, it’s time to refine your taste and elevate your appearance. Elegant ladies never wear these things.”
The fashion pro then explained: “Five things elegant ladies never wear.
“City names on t-shirts, hats, and bags, like New York, London, Paris, or Tokyo.
“No matter if you’re visiting that place or you’ve just returned from that place, or you’re just randomly wearing it, there is no need to wear the name of the city on your clothing.
“It is not elegant and it is not cool either.”
Not only this, but Level Blue also shared her thoughts on name necklaces, as she added: “Name necklaces – it looks tacky, it looks cheap.
“Why would you want strangers to know your name? Where is your mystery?
“If somebody wants to know the name of an elegant lady, they would have to ask, and then you can decide if you want to give it to them.
“There is no need to wear your name tag on your neck. You’re not a pet.”
As well as this, the fashion expert also revealed that clothes with slogans are often not a good look, as she explained: “Cheesy writing on your clothing – like ‘babe’ or ‘angel’ on your back.
“It is so tasteless. Your clothing should not be a banner for your political views, energy, vibe checks, and mental health status.
“You can communicate it with your words and actions, not with your hoodie.”
But that’s not all, as Level Blue also revealed why you need to ditch vibrant phone cases and stacked jewellery.
She concluded: “Plastic phone cases with weird prints, very busy designs.
“It looks juvenile. It downgrades your look because we always have our phones with us, your possessions communicate just as much about you as your appearance.
“Go for something more classy and sophisticated.
“Stacked bracelets, stacked rings, necklaces, earrings – stop stacking your jewellery. It is so tasteless.
“There is no need to wear multiple pieces of jewellery at the same time.
“Pick one, get something high quality and wear just one ring, one bracelet, one necklace.
“You will look a lot more expensive that way.”
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @level_blue, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly gone viral and in just four days, has amassed a staggering 1.2 million views.
Social media users were impressed with the fashion pro’s claims and were eager to express this in the comments.
