Ever wondered what a ‘playground for adults’ looks like… at sea?
Temptation Cruises, a spicy travel company that specialises in delivering a ‘sexy and sensual atmosphere’, has just released dates for its October 2026 voyage.
Kicking off at Miami’s port on October 20, passengers will spend five days on the Norwegian Jewel, a 965-foot vessel that will sail past some of the world’s most beautiful destinations including Key West, Florida and Nassau, in the Bahamas.
But these guests aren’t content with soaking up the sun. Temptation Cruises invites couples to explore their most erotic desires with each other—and with others.
In other words, it’s a cruise for the curious, complete with a clothing-optional sundeck, DJ sets and a 24-hour ‘playroom’ for erotic exploration.
It might not be Christian Grey’s red room, but it’s safe to say this trip brings new meaning to the phrase ‘Miami heat’.

The first-ever Temptation Caribbean Cruise set sail in 2020, with over 2,500 passengers and crew on-board.
Since then, it has operated five sexy voyages. Its most recent (cruising from from the beaches of Costa Maya to the wild shores of Great Stirrup Cay) is currently at sea.
One of the company’s USPs is that it is strictly couples-only.
While some spicy cruises allow singles to partake, Temptation has made it clear that it’s an experience carefully designed for couples — whether heterosexual or a part of the LGTBQIA+ community.
In order to preserve this balance, the cruise line has previously stated that they will deny boarding or request disembarkation of individuals who, although booked as a couple, do not meet this requirement.
So, if you and your friend were planning on faking it until you gained entry to the ultimate playroom, I’d think again if I were you.
Is the cruise just for swingers?
While Temptation Cruises are not swinging-specific, instead marketed as an ‘adult spring break’, previous guests have said that many of the passengers they met on board are ‘into’ the swinging lifestyle.
Bella & Jase, who share their lives as swingers online, boarded the 2025 Fall Temptation Cruise, noting that they were reminded of ‘how kind and supportive people are in this community’.
The pair documented as much as they could of their experience, showing off some of the different rooms and the activities available.
They even revealed to their followers that they’d recently been on back-to-back spicy cruises. Talk about commitment to the cause.
What to expect on board
With two swimming pools, adult entertainment programmes, spicy nights, resident DJs, and live-performances, you won’t find yourself running out of things to do.
Expect a party, with a side of education. The package includes access to intimate workshops led by specialists in the field of sexology.
On the company’s website, it emphasises that this trip is not just for long-time clients, but also also for new passengers who’re looking to experience a ‘sexy vacation’ for the first time.
With designated areas for more intimate activities, guests can choose how much, or how little, they want to participate.
The 'House Rules'
- Temptation Grand Cruises is exclusively for couples, and so is the Playroom.
- Temptation Grand Cruises is not a swinger cruise. It’s a lifestyle-friendly environment created for open-minded couples, regardless of labels.
- Temptation Grand Cruises offers clothing-optional areas onboard. Guests are free to enjoy these spaces at their own comfort level.
- Photography and video are not allowed in clothing-optional areas, the Playroom, workshops, or during theme nights.
- Workshops vary in topic and audience. Some are designed for all couples, while others may have limited access.
How much is a Temptation Cruise?
To stay in one of the interior state rooms, the cost for one couple is $1,300 (£985). This is described as the most ‘budget-friendly’ way to enjoy the cruise.
For couples looking for a bit more space, or for those who like to get freaky while looking at the ocean, an ocean-view state room will set you back $2,050 (£1,553).
And if you’re really keen on pushing the boat out (no pun intended) you can rent the Haven Owners for $15,350 (£11,632) — an 151 square feet suite that features a king-sized bed, deluxe bathroom, living room, dining room, access to a private patio, and includes butler and concierge service.
Talk about having sex in style.
Once you’re on-board, the cruise offers an unlimited open bar package and access to the many restaurants & bars, main pool and jacuzzis.
Could this be the right holiday for you?
I went on a swinging cruise with my husband
Another proud swinger, 32-year-old Alexandra Hamilton, a writer from California, previously shared her experience with Metro on-board the Luxury Lifestyle Vacations (LLV) cruise through French Polynesia.
Traveling with her husband, Alexandra described their relationship as ‘married but available’.
On the first night of the cruise, Alexandra shares that she and her husband ended their first day in the ship’s dedicated playroom – a sensual, spacious area where couples or groups of people can explore their fantasies.
‘We stripped off our costumes, and he went down on me before taking me from behind. Three couples swapped in the space adjacent to us, their sex sounds and moans giving us a thrill that boosted both our orgasms’.
Later in the week, Alexandra reveals that the pair spent time at a masturbation workshop, ‘which would be better described as a meditation on self-pleasure’, and enjoyed meeting and connecting with lots of different people on-board.
They spent most of the last day on the boat mingling and hooking up with other people, before falling asleep in each other’s arms ‘closer than ever’.
