New Delhi: A very surprising scene has been witnessed in Australia. Just listening to him will make your hair stand on end. Penguin decapitated bodies have been found off the coast of Australia. Scientists are working to find out the cause of this death. It is being speculated that the penguins may have been beheaded after colliding with the boat’s propeller. However it will still take time for the true cause to come out.
The shocking incident took place on a beach in Australia. A large number of penguins have come here in droves. Whose heads are being cut off. Scientists are puzzled by the penguin’s condition. They are investigating the reason behind the beheading of so many penguins.
Earlier, in 2021, the bodies of penguins were found on a beach in Australia. But this time in April alone, about 20 penguin carcasses were found off the coast of the Flereau Peninsula in South Australia. Which is higher than the 2021 figure.
Stephen Hedges in South Australia is collecting the carcasses of these dead penguins for study. Not only penguin carcasses but also their severed heads are being found on the beach. The possibility of a human hand in this case has been ruled out. Because these deaths are happening at sea.
Stephen Hedges further said that they see one or two dead penguins on the beach every month. But in the month of April alone we have found 15 to 20 bodies and that too with severed heads. Sometimes in the month of April, they have found three bodies in one day. Scientists say the penguin’s head was detached at once.
Stephen Hedges says there was a fishing competition near Encounter Bay recently. In which the penguin would have been attracted by the boat and would have died from its propeller as it approached the boat. Tourism could also be a factor behind the killing of penguins. Because of Easter and weekend, many tourists came to this area. Many tourists were walking along the beach with their dogs. Apart from this, foxes can also do this work. However, it will take scientists two to three weeks to find the exact cause. Last September, a swarm of bees killed 63 endangered African penguins off the coast of South Africa. During the postmortem, bee stings were found around the penguin’s eyes.
