Scheduled for Wednesday evening at a popular concert venue in Wembley Sunke reiterated his future plans as the first British Indian to run for the top job at 10 Downing Street ahead of the final campaign event. The former chancellor is in a crisis race against rival Foreign Secretary Liz Truce, with no Tory members who have cast their votes before voting closes on Friday evening. The final contest for Prime Minister is between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss. The 96-year-old Queen will appoint a new Prime Minister on Tuesday, the day after the Tory leadership election results are announced on Monday, and this time she will do so at Balmoral Castle, breaking with royal tradition.
