Gandhinagar: Gandhinagar has now become a movement city. In particular, as many as 18 different organizations are agitating at different places in Gandhinagar, due to which the BJP leadership is worried. A cabinet meeting was held in Gandhinagar on Tuesday under the chairmanship of CM Bhupendra Patel. In which the issue of giving benefits to the employees who joined the government after 1-4-2005, abolition of outsourcing practice, cancellation of fixed pay scale practice was discussed in relation to the ongoing movement of employees in Gandhinagar. Of course, no solution was announced by the government.
On the other hand, even today, the workers’ agitations continued in Gandhinagar. A large number of foresters and forest guards thronged Aranya Bhavan. In which the police detained more than 200 forest employees.
For the last one month, Gandhinagar city has become a battleground for various agitations. At present, not one or two but 18-18 movements are going on simultaneously here. Employees of different departments across the state are protesting, as a result of which continuous employee union rallies and sit-in programs are being organized in Gandhinagar, the police of around 7 districts have been deployed in Gandhinagar. An additional company of Rapid Action Force has also been deployed.
