Western Australia scored 168 for 8 with the help of Darcy Short’s 38-ball 52 and Nick Hobson’s 41-ball 64 and Team India could only score 132 for 8 in 20 overs against a target of 169.
KL Rahul scored the highest 74 runs in 55 balls on behalf of the Indian team but he could not win for India. Rishabh Pant, who came to open, scored 9, Deepak Hooda, batting third, scored 6, Hardik Pandya scored 17 runs in 9 balls, Akshar Patel scored 2 runs, Dinesh Karthik scored 10 runs in 14 balls, Harshal Patel scored 2 runs in 10 balls. For India, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli And Suryakumar Yadav did not bat. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up three wickets in one over for India while Harshal Patel took 2 wickets for 27 runs in four overs.
