New Delhi: Banks will have 6 consecutive days of holiday during the festival of Diwali this year. The festival of Diwali is approaching and people’s list is almost ready for shopping on Dhanteras day. From the house to the market, there is a festive atmosphere. Holidays are also plentiful during the festive season. But if you have not completed any important work related to banking, you should do it soon. Because from tomorrow i.e. from Saturday 22 October banks are going to be closed for 6 consecutive days. Out of the remaining 10 days of this month, eight days will be holidays in various regions of the country. So if you are leaving home to go to the bank even after Diwali, check the calendar once.
Diwali and Bhai Dooj festival
If we look at the holiday calendar of the Reserve Bank of India after October 21, banks will be closed on the occasion of Diwali, Govardhan Puja and Bhai Dooj.
