Liz Truss was elected Prime Minister after winning a majority of Conservative MPs and Rishi Sunak lost the election. Liz Truss became Prime Minister and had to resign within 45 days. Actually, Liz Truss was badly hit on the economy front and when she had no choice, she thought it better to resign. After the resignation of Liz Truss, Rishi got another chance.
