- Nabi wrote in his post on Twitter that our T20 World Cup journey is over
Nabi wrote in his post on Twitter that our T20 World Cup journey is over. Neither we nor our supporters expected the results we got. We are as disappointed as you are with the outcome of the matches. Over the last one year our team preparation was not up to the level that any captain would want or need for a major tournament. Also, in the last few tours, the balance of the team was affected due to non-unanimity of team management, selection committee. So, with due respect I announce to step down as captain and will continue to play for my country whenever the management and the team need me. He further wrote that I would like to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart who came to the field despite being affected by the rain and who supported us all over the world, your love really means a lot to us.
