New Delhi: India took a 1-0 lead in the series by defeating New Zealand in the T20 match on Sunday. Under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, Team India defeated New Zealand in the second T20I. The first match of the three-match series was canceled due to rain, while the third match is scheduled to be played on the 22nd. After taking a step back in the series, New Zealand has now suffered another major setback. Captain Kane Williamson has been ruled out of the third T20I. The match will be played in Napier on November 22 at 12.00 PM IST.

Southee will lead the team in the third T20I in the absence of Kane Williamson, while Mark Chapman has been included in the squad. According to New Zealand coach Gary Stead, Kane Williamson has a long awaited medical appointment. But it was not matching the schedule to be played.

In this match, Team India won by 65 runs. Batting first, India scored 191 runs including Suryakumar Yadav’s innings of 111 runs. In reply, the New Zealand team was bundled out for just 126 runs. Captain Kane Williamson from New Zealand played a struggling innings of 61 runs. According to the information, Kane Williamson will not be able to play in the third T20 match due to medical reasons.

Due to this, Suryakumar scored his double century in the T20 series. He shocked everyone by scoring 61 runs in the last 19 balls. Yadav scored 111 runs and gave a target of 192 runs against Newland. However, New Zealand were all out for 126 runs.
