Fusion Energy Breakthrough: End of Petrol-Diesel Era
Scientists announced on December 13 that researchers at Lawrence National Laboratory in California conducted a nuclear fission reaction that produces more energy than is used to burn it. This signals a major breakthrough for the sector. Almost all the energy on the planet comes from nuclear fusion energy. We know that many sources of energy can be traced back to the fission reactions in the sun, from the food we eat to the fossil fuels we burn.

“Reversing death” by regenerating pig cells
From the Greek myth Achilles to the Hindu myth Hiranyakashipu, the quest for immortality is a story as old as time itself. But new research by Yale scientists published this August in the journal Nature plays with the notion of immortality. How scientists pumped a custom-made solution called OrganX into the bodies of dead pigs using a device similar to heart-lung machines used in hospitals. As the machine began circulating this solution into the cadaver’s veins and arteries, the cells in his brain, heart, liver and kidneys began to function again. Also, unlike normal corpses, corpses were never embalmed.
Successful launch of JWST
NASA has successfully launched the James Webb Space Telescope. However, this launch took place on the 25th of the last month of 2021. But in 2022, the pictures started to be received. JWST is constantly sending back images of the universe. JWST also sent images of Titan, Saturn’s largest moon.
